आरूढाज्गशिक्षितैर्योधै: शकक्‍्त्यृष्टिप्रासयोधिभि: । विध्वस्तचामरमुखान्‌ विप्रविद्धप्रकीर्णकान्‌

Transliteration

ārūḍāṅgaśikṣitair yodhaiḥ śaktyṛṣṭiprāsayodhibhiḥ | vidhvastacāmaramukhān vipraviddhaprakīrṇakān ||

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅಶ್ವಾರೋಹಣ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಶಿಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿ, ಶಕ್ತಿ, ಋಷ್ಟಿ, ಪ್ರಾಸಾದಿ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣರಾದ ಯೋಧರು, ಮುಂಚೂಣಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಧ್ವಜ-ಚಾಮರಗಳು ಧ್ವಂಸವಾದವರನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸಿ ಚದುರಿಸಿದರು; ರಣಕೋಲಾಹಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡು ಗೊಂದಲಗೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಚದುರಿದರು.
