Educational Q&A

The verse foregrounds asambhrānti—steadiness and clarity under pressure. In a dharma-framed battle, effective action is rooted in self-control: the warrior who does not panic can apply force precisely to restrain and protect his side.

As the opposing warriors draw near, Droṇa—described as extraordinarily powerful—remains unshaken and stops their forward movement by unleashing a dense, powerful volley of arrows.
