अन्योन्यक्रोधताम्राक्षौ छादयामासतुर्युधि । वे दोनों क्रोधमे लाल आँखें करके बरसातके दो बादलोंके समान बाणसमूहोंकी वर्षा करते हुए एक-दूसरेको आच्छादित करने लगे || १०४ $ ।। तलशब्दैस्ततो घोरैस्त्रासयन्ती परस्परम्‌

Transliteration

anyonyakrodhatāmrākṣau chādayāmāsatur yudhi |

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಕೆಂಪಾದ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಶರಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದರು; ಮಳೆಮೋಡಗಳೆರಡಿನಂತೆ ಬಾಣವೃಷ್ಟಿ ಸುರಿಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಭಯಂಕರ ತಾಳಧ್ವನಿಗಳಿಂದ ಪರಸ್ಪರವನ್ನು ಬೆದರಿಸುತ್ತ ಸಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತರು.
