वेगं चक्रे महाबाहुर्भीमसेनरथं प्रति । महामना पाण्डुपुत्रने उसे गहरी चोट पहुँचायी थी। अतः महाबाहु अभश्वत्थामाने भीमसेनके रथपर ही बड़े वेगसे आक्रमण किया ।। ९९ $ ।। तत आकर्णपूर्णानां शराणां तिग्मतेजसाम्
sañjaya uvāca | vegaṃ cakre mahābāhur bhīmasenarathaṃ prati |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾಬಾಹು ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥಾಮನು ಭೀಮಸೇನನ ರಥದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮಹಾವೇಗದಿಂದ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ನಂತರ ಕಿವಿವರೆಗೆ ಎಳೆದು ಬಿಡಲಾದ, ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನ ಬಾಣಗಳ ಮಳೆ ಸುರಿಯಿತು.
