मज्जत्सु चक्रेषु रथान्‌ सत्त्वमास्थाय वाजिन: । कथंचिदवहडउश्रान्ता वेपमाना: शरार्दिता:

Transliteration

majjatsu cakreṣu rathān sattvam āsthāya vājinaḥ | kathaṃcid avahaḍuśrāntā vepamānāḥ śarārditāḥ ||

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಚಕ್ರಗಳು ಕೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅಶ್ವಗಳು ಧೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೇಗೋ ರಥಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳೆದವು. ಅವು ದಣಿದಿದ್ದವು, ನಡುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು, ಬಾಣಪೀಡಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
