अभिद्रवन्तु संहृष्टा: कुम्भयोनिं समन्ततः । “अतः हर्षमें भरकर रणभूमिमें द्रोणाचार्यपर धावा करो। तुम्हें किसी प्रकार भय नहीं होना चाहिये। जनमेजय
sañjaya uvāca | abhadravantu saṁhṛṣṭāḥ kumbhayoniṁ samantataḥ | pratiprakāśite loke divābhūte niśākare | vicerur na viceruś ca rājan naktacarās tataḥ |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ಹರ್ಷದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಂದ ಕುಂಭಯೋನಿ (ದ್ರೋಣ) ಮೇಲೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿರಿ.” ಚಂದ್ರನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಲೋಕವು ದಿನದಂತೆ ಬೆಳಗಿದಾಗ, ಓ ರಾಜನೇ, ಕೆಲವು ರಾತ್ರಿಚರ ಜೀವಿಗಳು ಚಲಿಸಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದವು; ಇನ್ನಾವುಗಳು ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿಶ್ಚಲವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದವು—ಯುದ್ಧಕೋಲಾಹಲದ ನಡುವೆ ಅದು ಅಪಶಕುನದಂತೆ ತೋರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು।
