Chapter 161
अश्वत्थामानमासाद्य वाक्यमेतदुवाच ह । उस समय राजा दुर्योधनने कर्णका पराक्रम देख अश्वत्थामाके पास पहुँचकर यह बात कही--
aśvatthāmānam āsādya vākyam etad uvāca ha |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥಾಮನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ರಣಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ಣನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ರಾಜ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನು ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥಾಮನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ, ಸಲಹೆಯೂ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯೂ ಮಿಶ್ರವಾದ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಬೋಧಿಸಿದನು।
