Educational Q&A

The passage highlights how epic narration frames battlefield conduct: valor and steadfastness under pressure are praised, while the listener is invited to reflect on the cost of war and the burdens of kṣatriya-duty.

Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Karṇa is engaged in a fierce fight against many opponents simultaneously, and that the observers witness astonishing feats of Karṇa’s martial skill.
