।। स वध्यमानो बलवान् कर्णचापच्युतै: शरै:
sa vadhyamāno balavān karṇacāpacyutaiḥ śaraiḥ
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ವಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಆ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಯೋಧನು ಕರ್ಣನ ಧನುಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಚುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
