दत्ता भीम त्वया संवित्‌ कृतं गुरुवचस्तथा

Transliteration

datta bhīma tvayā saṃvit kṛtaṃ guruvacas tathā | bhīma! tvaṃ sūcanāṃ dattavān asi gurūṇāṃ vacanaṃ ca pālitaṃ | pāṇḍunandana! yeṣāṃ tvaṃ śatruḥ teṣāṃ yuddhe jayo na sambhavati | saubhāgyam etat yat saṃgrāmabhūmau savyasācī arjunaḥ jīvati |

Translation

“ಭೀಮಾ! ನೀನು ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದೀ; ಗುರುಜನರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನೂ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದೀ. ಪಾಂಡುನಂದನಾ! ನೀನು ಶತ್ರುವಾಗಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯ ದೊರಕದು; ಮತ್ತು ರಣಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸವ್ಯಸಾಚಿ ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಜೀವಂತನಿರುವುದು ಮಹಾಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯ.”
