स गाढविद्धों बलिना भारद्वाजोी महायशा: । निषसाद रथोपस्थे कश्मलं च जगाम ह,बलवान वीर धृष्टद्युम्नके द्वारा गहरी चोट पहुँचायी जानेपर महायशस्वी द्रोणाचार्य रथके पिछले भागमें बैठ गये और मूर्च्छित हो गये
sa gāḍha-viddho balinā bhāradvājo mahāyaśāḥ | niṣasāda rathopasthe kaśmalaṃ ca jagāma ha ||
ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಧೃಷ್ಟದ್ಯುಮ್ನನ ಗಾಢ ಪ್ರಹಾರದಿಂದ ಮಹಾಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾದ ಭಾರದ್ವಾಜ (ದ್ರೋಣ) ರಥದ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಸಿದು ಕುಳಿತನು ಮತ್ತು ಮೂರ್ಚ್ಛೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದನು.
