चित्रसेनं शतेनैव दशभिर्दु:सहं तथा

Transliteration

citrasenaṁ śatenaiva daśabhir duḥsahaṁ tathā

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅವನು ಚಿತ್ರಸೇನನ ಮೇಲೆ ನೂರು ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿದನು; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಹತ್ತು ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ದುಃಸಹನನ್ನು ಮಣಿಸಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧದ ವೇಗ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಏರಿತು; ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವು ತ್ವರಿತ, ನಿರ್ಣಾಯಕ ಅಧೀನಪಡಿಸುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಅಳೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
