Śaineya’s Breakthrough and Reunion with Arjuna (शैनेयस्य समागमः)
न गोष्ठया नोपकारेण न सम्बन्धनिमित्तत: । नानाहूत॑ नाप्यभूतं मम सैन्यं बभूव ह
sañjaya uvāca
na goṣṭhayā nopakāreṇa na sambandha-nimittataḥ | nānāhūtaṃ nāpy abhūtaṃ mama sainyaṃ babhūva ha ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಸಭಾ-ಒತ್ತಡದಿಂದ ಮರುಳುಮಾಡಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಉಪಕಾರಗಳಿಂದ ಗೆದ್ದು ಅಲ್ಲ, ಬಂಧುತ್ವದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ—ನನ್ನ ಸೇನೆ ರೂಪುಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆಯದೆ ಬಂದವನು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ತಂದು ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸೇನೆಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇದೇ।
