संवर्धता गोपकुले बालेनैव महात्मना । विख्यापितं बल बाद्दोस्त्रिषु लोकेषु संजय,संजय! बाल्यावस्थामें ही जब कि वे गोपकुलमें पल रहे थे, महात्मा श्रीकृष्णने अपनी भुजाओंके बल और पराक्रमको तीनों लोकोंमें विख्यात कर दिया

Transliteration

saṃvardhatā gopakule bālenāiva mahātmanā | vikhyāpitaṃ balaṃ bāhvor triṣu lokeṣu saṃjaya saṃjaya ||

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಗೋಪಕುಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಆ ಮಹಾತ್ಮನು ಬಾಲ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ, ಓ ಸಂಜಯ, ತನ್ನ ಭುಜಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ವೀರಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತ್ರಿಲೋಕಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು।
