तत: शरशतैस्ती4्णैस्तानरीन् श्वेतवाहन: । प्रत्यषेधद् द्रुतं क्रुद्धो महावातो घनानिव,तदनन्तर जैसे प्रचण्ड वायु बादलोंको छिलन्न-भिन्न कर देती है, उसी प्रकार श्वेतवाहन अर्जुनने कुपित हो सैकड़ों तीखे बाणोंद्वारा उन शत्रुओंको तुरंत पीछे हटा दिया
tataḥ śaraśatais tīkṣṇais tān arīn śvetavāhanaḥ | pratyāṣedhad drutaṃ kruddho mahāvāto ghanān iva ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಆಮೇಲೆ ಶ್ವೇತವಾಹನ ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಕ್ರುದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ನೂರಾರು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಂದ ಆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ತಡೆದನು; ಮಹಾವಾಯು ಘನಮೋಡಗಳನ್ನು ಚೂರುಚೂರಾಗಿಸುವಂತೆ।
