द्रोणेन केकय-चेदि-वीरवधः

तमभ्यधावन् क्रोशन्त: क्षत्रिया जयकाड्ृक्षिण: । इदं छिद्रमिति ज्ञात्वा धरणीस्थं धनंजयम्,धनंजयको धरतीपर खड़ा जान “यही अवसर है” ऐसा कहते हुए विजयाभिलाषी क्षत्रिय हल्ला मचाते हुए उनकी ओर दौड़े
tam abhyadhāvan krośantaḥ kṣatriyā jayakāṅkṣiṇaḥ | idaṃ chidram iti jñātvā dharaṇīsthaṃ dhanaṃjayam ||
ಧನಂಜಯನು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು “ಇದೇ ಬಿರುಕು, ಇದೇ ಅವಕಾಶ!” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುತ್ತಾ ಜಯಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿ ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯರು ಗದ್ದಲಮಾಡಿ ಅವನತ್ತ ಧಾವಿಸಿದರು.
