Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s appraisal of Vāsudeva’s deeds
प्रभिन्नमिव मातडुं यथा क्रुद्धं तरस्विनम् । प्रसन्नवदनं दृष्टवा प्रतिद्विरदगामिनम्
prabhinnam iva mātaṅgaṁ yathā kruddhaṁ tarasvinam | prasannavadanaṁ dṛṣṭvā pratidviradagāminam ||
ಮತ್ತಗೊಂಡ ಆನೆಯಂತೆ ಕ್ರುದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ಅಪಾರ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅವನ ಮುಖವು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಆನೆಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
