तदा5<5सीत् सुमहद् युद्धे भगदत्तस्य मारिष । पज्चालै: पाण्डवेयैश्न केकयैश्लोद्यतायुथै:,आर्य! उस समय हथियार उठाये हुए पांचालों, पाण्डवों तथा केकयोंके साथ भगदत्तका बड़ा भारी युद्ध हुआ
tadā āsīt sumahad yuddhe bhagadattasya māriṣa | pāñcālaiḥ pāṇḍaveyaiś ca kekayaiś codyatāyudhaiḥ ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ಪೂಜ್ಯನೇ! ಆಗ ಆಯುಧ ಎತ್ತಿದ ಪಾಂಚಾಲರು, ಪಾಂಡವರು ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಕಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಗದತ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮಹಾ ಭೀಕರ ಯುದ್ಧವು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿತು।
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports that a fierce engagement breaks out: Bhagadatta fights against the combined forces of the Pāñcālas, the Pāṇḍavas, and the Kekayas, all standing with weapons raised and ready.
