अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

ततः कृतास्त्रास्ते सर्वे परिवार्य वृकोदरम् | अभीता: समवर्तन्त शस्त्रवृष्ट्या परंतप,शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले नरेश! तदनन्तर अस्त्रोंके ज्ञाता समस्त कौरव-सैनिक भीमसेनको सब ओरसे घेरकर अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंकी वर्षा करते हुए बिना किसी भयके उनपर चढ़ आये
tataḥ kṛtāstrās te sarve parivārya vṛkodaram | abhītāḥ samavartanta śastravṛṣṭyā parantapa ||
ನಂತರ ಆಯುಧವಿದ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣರಾದ ಆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಯೋಧರು ವೃಕೋದರನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದು, ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಶಸ್ತ್ರವೃಷ್ಟಿ ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
