The Tumult of Battle Described
तस्मिन् क्षणे सात्यकि: सत्यसंध: शिनिप्रवीरो5भ्यपतत् पितामहम् । निष्नन्नमित्रान् धनुषा दृढेन संकम्पयंस्तव पुत्रस्य सैन्यम्,उस समय शिनिवंशके प्रमुख वीर सत्यप्रतिज्ञ सात्यकि अपने सुदृढ़ धनुषसे शत्रुओंका संहार करते और आपके पुत्रकी सेनाको कँपाते हुए पितामह भीष्मपर चढ़ आये
tasmin kṣaṇe sātyakiḥ satyasaṃdhaḥ śinipravīro 'bhyapatat pitāmaham | niṣnann amitrān dhanuṣā dṛḍhena saṃkampayaṃs tava putrasya sainyam ||
ಅದೇ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿನಿವಂಶದ ಅಗ್ರವೀರ, ಸತ್ಯಸಂಧನಾದ ಸಾತ್ಯಕಿ, ದೃಢ ಧನುಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರನ ಸೇನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಪಿಸಿ ಪಿತಾಮಹ ಭೀಷ್ಮನ ಮೇಲೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿದನು।
