भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
ततो रथसहस्रेषु विद्रवत्सु ततस्तत:,उधर सहस्रों रथी जब इधर-उधर भाग रहे थे, उसी समय एक रथपर बैठे हुए अभिमन्यु और सात्यकि सुबलपुत्रकी सेनाका संग्रामभूमिमें सब ओरसे संहार करने लगे

ನಂತರ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ರಥಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲಿ-ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಒಂದೇ ರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಅಭಿಮನ್ಯು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾತ್ಯಕಿ ಯುದ್ಧಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಂದ ಸುಬಲನ ಪುತ್ರನ ಸೇನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು।
