ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಯಾದ ಗಾಡೇಯನು ಹತನಾದಾಗ ಎರಡೂ ಸೇನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಗೊಂದಲ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಸಾಲುಗಳು ಕದಡಿದವು, ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳು ವ್ಯಾಕುಲವಾದವು—ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಯೋಧನ ಪತನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಆಗುವಂತೆಯೇ.
