तथैव पाण्डवा राजन् सैन्येन महता वृता: । भीष्म संछादयामासुर्मेघा इव दिवाकरम्
tathaiva pāṇḍavā rājan sainyena mahatā vṛtāḥ | bhīṣmaṃ saṃchādayāmāsur meghā iva divākaram ||
ರಾಜನೇ! ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಹಾಸೈನ್ಯದಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದ ಪಾಂಡವರು ಬಾಣಗಳ ಘನಮಳೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಭೀಷ್ಮನನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರು—ಮೋಡಗಳು ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುವಂತೆ।
