मड़ाश्न मशकाश्नैव मानसा मन्दगास्तथा । मज़ा ब्राह्मणभूयिष्ठा: स्वकर्मनिरता नूप

Transliteration

maṅgāś ca maśakāś caiva mānasā mandagās tathā | maṅgā brāhmaṇabhūyiṣṭhāḥ svakarmaniratā nṛpa ||

Translation

ಅವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು—ಮಂಗ, ಮಶಕ, ಮಾನಸ, ಮಂದಗ. ಓ ನರೇಶ್ವರ! ಮಂಗ ಜನಪದದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಧರ್ಮಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
