भीमसेनस्य बहुमहारथसंयुगः

दारयन्निव पद्धयां स जगतीं जगदी श्वर: । क्रोधताम्रेक्षण: कृष्णो जिघांसुरमितद्युति:
sañjaya uvāca | dārayann iva padhyāṃ sa jagatīṃ jagadīśvaraḥ | krodhatāmrekṣaṇaḥ kṛṣṇo jighāṃsur amitadyutiḥ ||
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಜಗದೀಶ್ವರನಾದ, ಅಮಿತ ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನು ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ಕೆಂಪಾದ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭೀಷ್ಮನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು; ಅವನ ಪಾದಾಘಾತಗಳ ಘೋಷದಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿ ಚೀರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ತೋಚಿತು।
