ईशानं शड्करं सर्व शिवं विश्वेश्वरं भवम् । उमापतिं पशुपतिं विश्वरूपं महेश्वरम्
īśānaṃ śaṅkaraṃ sarvaṃ śivaṃ viśveśvaraṃ bhavam | umāpatiṃ paśupatiṃ viśvarūpaṃ maheśvaram ||
ಈಶಾನ, ಶಂಕರ, ಸರ್ವಮಂಗಳ ಶಿವ, ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರ, ಭವ; ಉಮಾಪತಿ, ಪಶುಪತಿ, ವಿಶ್ವರೂಪ, ಮಹೇಶ್ವರ—ಇಂತಹ ಮಹಾದೇವನಿಗೆ ಶಿರಸಾ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಶರಣು ಸೇರು।
