शमार्थ सर्वयोधानां शृणु चेदं वचो मम । 'पुरुषसिंह! मैं इसीको लेकर समस्त योद्धाओंको शान्त करनेके लिये आज तुम्हारे पास आयी हूँ। तुम मेरी यह बात सुनो

Transliteration

śamārthaṃ sarvayodhānāṃ śṛṇu cedaṃ vaco mama |

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ಎಲ್ಲ ಯೋಧರನ್ನು ಶಮನಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು. ಪುರುಷಸಿಂಹಾ! ಇವನನ್ನೇ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೋಧರ ಶಾಂತಿಗಾಗಿ ಇಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ವಚನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳು.”
