सौदास उवाच क्षमं चेदिह वक्तव्यं तव द्विजवरोत्तम । मत्समीपं द्विजश्रेष्ठ नागन्तव्यं कथंचन
Saudāsa uvāca: kṣamaṃ ced iha vaktavyaṃ tava dvijavarottama | matsamīpaṃ dvijaśreṣṭha nāgantavyaṃ kathaṃcana ||
ಸೌದಾಸನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ದ್ವಿಜವరోತ್ತಮನೇ! ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವುದು ಯುಕ್ತವೆಂದು ನೀನು ಮನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣಿಸಿದರೆ, ಓ ದ್ವಿಜಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನೇ, ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಡ.
