Kuntī–Vyāsa Dialogue on Durvāsā’s Boon and Karṇa’s Birth
स राजा जाह्नवीतीरे यथा ते कथितं मया । तेनाग्निना समायुक्त: स्वेनैव भरतर्षभ
sa rājā jāhnavītīre yathā te kathitaṃ mayā | tenāgninā samāyuktaḥ svenaiva bharatarṣabha ||
ನಾರದನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ಭರತಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠಾ! ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ, ಆ ರಾಜನು ಜಾಹ್ನವೀ (ಗಂಗಾ) ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನದೇ (ಸ್ವಯಂ ಆಯ್ದ) ಅಗ್ನಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಏಕೀಭವಿಸಿದನು.
