Kuntī’s Retrospective Uddharṣaṇa and Renunciatory Resolve (कुन्त्युद्धर्षण-प्रत्याख्यानम्)
सा हाग्रेगच्छति तयोर्दम्पत्योर्हतपुत्रयो: । कर्षन्ती तौ ततस्ते तां दृष्टवा संन्यपतन् भुवि
sā hāgre gacchati tayor dampatyor hataputrayoḥ | karṣantī tau tatas te tāṃ dṛṣṭvā saṃnyapatan bhuvi ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅವಳು ಮುಂದೆ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆದು, ಪುತ್ರರು ಹತರಾದ ಆ ಸಂತಾನಹೀನ ರಾಜದಂಪತಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. ಅವಳನ್ನು ಆ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಮೀಪಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಪಾಂಡವರು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವಳ ಪಾದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದರು।
