Jamadagni–Reṇukā–Sūrya Saṃvāda
ऋषय: समेता: पश्चिमे वै प्रभासे समागता मन्त्रममन्त्रयन्त । चराम सर्वा पृथिवीं पुण्यतीर्था तन्न: काम॑ हन्त गच्छाम सर्वे
ṛṣayaḥ sametāḥ paścime vai prabhāse samāgatā mantram amantrayanta | carāma sarvāṃ pṛthivīṃ puṇyatīrthāṃ tan naḥ kāmaḥ—hanta gacchāma sarve ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ಪ್ರಭಾಸ ತೀರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಋಷಿಗಳು ಸೇರಿದರು. ಸೇರಿ ಅವರು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಮಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು—‘ಪವಿತ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥಗಳಿಂದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧವಾದ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಂಚರಿಸೋಣ; ಇದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಆಸೆ; ಬನ್ನಿ, ನಾವು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೊರಡೋಣ’ ಎಂದರು.
