इच्छाम त्वां वयं ज्ञातुं का त्वं क्व च गमिष्यसि । तत्त्वेन वरवर्णाभे सर्वमेतद् ब्रवीहि न:,इसलिये हम तुम्हारा परिचय जानना चाहती हैं। तुम कौन हो और कहाँ जाओगी? वरवर्णिनि! ये सारी बातें हमें ठीक-ठीक बताओ
icchāma tvāṁ vayaṁ jñātuṁ kā tvaṁ kva ca gamiṣyasi | tattvena varavarṇābhe sarvam etad bravīhi naḥ ||
ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇವೆ—ನೀನು ಯಾರು, ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವೆ? ಹೇ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವರ್ಣಸೌಂದರ್ಯವತೀ, ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ನಮಗೆ ನಿಖರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳು.
