Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows
अश्वमेधसहस्रं च सत्यं च तुलया धृतम् । अश्वमेधसहस्राद्धि सत्यमेव विशिष्यते
aśvamedhasahasraṃ ca satyaṃ ca tulayā dhṛtam | aśvamedhasahasrād dhi satyam eva viśiṣyate ||
ತೂಕದ ತ್ರಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರ ಅಶ್ವಮೇಧ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳ ಪುಣ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ತಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಇಟ್ಟರೆ, ಸಾವಿರ ಅಶ್ವಮೇಧಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಸತ್ಯವೇ ಭಾರವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸತ್ಯವೇ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ.
