धारणं सर्ववेदानां सर्वतीर्थावगाहनम् | सत्यं च ब्रुवतो नित्यं सम॑ वा स्यान्न वा समम्
dhāraṇaṁ sarvavedānāṁ sarvatīrthāvagāhanam | satyaṁ ca bruvato nityaṁ samaṁ vā syān na vā samam ||
ಎಲ್ಲ ವೇದಗಳನ್ನು ಧಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತೀರ್ಥಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡುವುದು—ಈ ಕರ್ಮಗಳ ಪುಣ್ಯವು ಸದಾ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವ ಪುರುಷನ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮವಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂಬುದೇ ಸಂಶಯ. ಅಂದರೆ, ಇವೆಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಸತ್ಯವೇ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ.
