कलविड्क उपस्पृश्य विद्याच्च बहुशो जलम्‌ | अग्ने: पुरे नर: स्नात्वा अग्निकन्यापुरे वसेत्‌

Transliteration

Kalaviḍka upaspṛśya vidyāc ca bahuśo jalam | Agneḥ pure naraḥ snātvā agnikanyāpure vaset ||

Translation

ಕಲವಿಡ್ಕ ತೀರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುದ್ಧಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ನೀರನ್ನು ಪುನಃಪುನಃ ಆಚಮನವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರೆ ಅನೇಕ ತೀರ್ಥಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಮಾನ ಫಲ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಗ್ನೇಃಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಅಗ್ನಿಕನ್ಯಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ।
