अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence
अग्निर॒ुवाच अधीयान: पण्डितं मन्यमानो यो विद्यया हन्ति यश: परेषाम् | प्रभ्रश्यतेडसौ चरते न सत्यं लोकास्तस्य हारान्तवन्तो भवन्ति
agnir uvāca: adhīyānaḥ paṇḍitaṃ manyamāno yo vidyayā hanti yaśaḥ pareṣām | prabhraśyate ’sau carate na satyaṃ lokās tasya hārāntavanto bhavanti ||
ಅಗ್ನಿಯು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಯಾರು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಿ ತಾನೇ ಮಹಾಪಂಡಿತನೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯೆಯ ಗರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮದಿಸಿ, ಆ ವಿದ್ಯೆಯ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಇತರರ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೋ—ಅವನು ಧರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನಾಗಿ ಸತ್ಯಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಪಡೆಯುವ ಲೋಕಗಳು ಕ್ಷಯಶೀಲ, ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಷ್ಟವನ್ನೇ ತರುವವು.
