हविध्रश्न पृषध्रश्न प्रतीप: शान्तनुस्तथा । अज: प्राचीनबर्हिश्व तथेक्ष्वाकुर्महायशा:

Transliteration

havidhraśnaḥ pṛṣadhraśnaḥ pratīpaḥ śāntanus tathā | ajaḥ prācīnabarhiś ca tathekṣvākur mahāyaśāḥ ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—“ಈಗ ಆ ರಾಜರ್ಷಿಗಳ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳು: ಹವಿಧ್ರಶ್ನ, ಪೃಷಧ್ರಶ್ನ, ಪ್ರತೀಪ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತನು; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಜ, ಪ್ರಾಚೀನಬರ್ಹಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾದ ಇಕ್ಷ್ವಾಕು.”
