कामार्थो पृष्ठत: कृत्वा लोभमोहानुसारिणौ । धर्म इत्येव सम्बुद्धास्तानुपास्व च पृच्छ च
kāmārtho pṛṣṭhataḥ kṛtvā lobhamohānusāriṇau | dharma ityeva sambuddhās tān upāsva ca pṛccha ca ||
ಲೋಭಮೋಹಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವ ಕಾಮ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟು, ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನೇ ಪರಮ ಹಿತವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿ. ಸದ್ಸಂಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ತವಕಿಸುವವರು, ಅದರಿಂದ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ತೃಪ್ತರಾಗದವರು, ಆಗಮಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವೆಂದು ಮಾನ್ಯಮಾಡುವವರು, ಸದಾ ಸಂತೃಪ್ತರಾಗಿರುವವರು—ಅಂತಹ ಮಹಾತ್ಮರ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿ; ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಿವಾರಿಸಿಕೊ.
