विप्रकारान् प्रयुद्धक्ते सम सुबहून् मम वेश्मनि । तानुदारतया चाहं चक्षमे चातिदुःसहान्
viprakārān prayuddhakte samabahūn mama veśmani | tān udāratayā cāhaṃ cakṣame cātiduḥsahān ||
ವಾಯುನುಡಿದನು— ನನ್ನದೇ ನಿವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರು ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ವೈರವೃತ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ವರ್ತಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ದುಃಸಹವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ನಾನು ಉದಾರತೆಯಿಂದ ಸಹಿಸಿ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿದೆನು.
