असूयतश्च शक्रस्य वज्ेण प्रहरिष्यत: । स वज्ं स्तम्भयामास त॑ बाहुं परिघोपमम्
Transliteration
asūyataś ca śakrasya vajreṇa prahariṣyataḥ | sa vajraṃ stambhayāmāsa taṃ bāhuṃ parighopamam ||
Translation
ಶಕ್ರನು (ಇಂದ್ರನು) ಅಸೂಯೆಯಿಂದ ವಜ್ರದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಹರಿಸಲು ಉದ್ಧತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಆ ಬಾಲಕನು ವಜ್ರಧಾರಿಯಾದ ಅವನ ಗದೆಯಂತ ದಪ್ಪವೂ ಭಯಂಕರವೂ ಆದ ಅದೇ ಭುಜವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಂಭಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು.
