ज्योतिर्भूत: परमोडसौ पुरस्तात् प्रकाशते यत्प्रभया विश्वरूप: । अप: सृष्टवा सर्वभूतात्मयोनि: पुराकरोत् सर्वमेवाथ विश्वम्
jyotirbhūtaḥ paramo 'sau purastāt prakāśate yatprabhayā viśvarūpaḥ | apaḥ sṛṣṭvā sarvabhūtātmayoniḥ purākarot sarvamevātha viśvam ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಅವನು ಪರಮ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ; ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನ ಕಿರಣದಿಂದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜಗತ್ತು ಬೆಳಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವನೇ ಎಲ್ಲ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮವೂ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯ ಯೋನಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಜಲವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ, ನಂತರ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಿಶ್ವವನ್ನು ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಮಾಡಿದನು.
