तथा वज्ञेण भगवानमर्षाकुललोचन: । तमापततन्तं दृष्टवैव च्यवनस्तपसान्वित:

Transliteration

tathā vajreṇa bhagavānamarṣākulalocanaḥ | tam āpatatantaṃ dṛṣṭvaiva cyavanas tapasānvitāḥ ||

Translation

ಆಗ ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ಕೆಂಪಾದ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿರುವ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಇಂದ್ರನು ವಜ್ರದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಹಾರ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ತಪೋಬಲದಿಂದ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾದ ಚ್ಯವನ ಋಷಿಯೂ ಆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ನಿಂತನು।
