सर्वभूतदया धर्मो न चैकग्रामवासिता । आशापाशविमोक्षश्न शस्यते मोक्षकाड्क्षिणाम्‌

Transliteration

sarvabhūtadayā dharmo na caikagrāmavāsitā | āśāpāśavimokṣaś ca śasyate mokṣakāṅkṣiṇām ||

Translation

ಮಹೇಶ್ವರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮೋಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವಭೂತಗಳ ಮೇಲಿನ ದಯೆಯೇ ಧರ್ಮ. ಅವರು ಒಂದೇ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲೋ ಒಂದೇ ನೆಲೆದಲ್ಲೋ ಬಂಧಿತರಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯಬಾರದು; ಮತ್ತು ಆಶೆ-ತೃಷ್ಣೆಗಳ ಪಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಬೇಕು. ಮಮುಕ್ಷುಗಳಿಗೆ ಇದೇ ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿತ ಮಾರ್ಗ.
