दत्त्वा तु सततं ते5स्तु कौरवाणां धुरन्धर | दानयज्ञक्रियायुक्ता बुद्धिर्धमोपचायिनी,कौरवधुरंधर! तुम भी सदा दान करते रहो। तुम्हारी बुद्धि दान और यज्ञकी क्रियामें संलग्न हो धर्मकी उन्नति करती रहे
dattvā tu satataṃ te 'stu kauravāṇāṃ dhurandhara | dānayajñakriyāyuktā buddhir dharmopacāyinī ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಓ ಕೌರವಧುರಂಧರ! ನೀನು ಸದಾ ದಾನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರು. ದಾನ-ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತವಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಸದಾ ಧರ್ಮವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡಲಿ.
