Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
धारानिनादैर्विहगप्रणादै: शुभैस्तथा बूंहितैः: कुज्जराणाम् | गीतैस्तथा किन्नराणामुदारै: शुभै: स्वनै: सामगानां च वीर
dhārāninādair vihagapraṇādaiḥ śubhais tathā bṛṃhitaiḥ kuñjarāṇām | gītaiś tathā kinnarāṇām udāraiḥ śubhaiḥ svanaiḥ sāmagānāṃ ca vīra vīra |
ವೀರನೇ! ಪರ್ವತಶಿಖರಗಳಿಂದ ಹರಿದು ಬೀಳುವ ಜಲಧಾರೆಗಳ ಮರ್ಮರನಾದ, ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಮಧುರ ಕಲರವ, ಆನೆಗಳ ಗರ್ಜನೆ, ಕಿನ್ನರರ ಉದಾರವಾದ ಮನೋಹರ ಗೀತೆಗಳು, ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಗಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಾಮವೇದಿ ಪಂಡಿತರ ಮಂಗಳಸ್ವರಗಳು—ಇವೆಲ್ಲವು ಆ ವನಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಂಗೀತಮಯವಾಗಿಸಿತ್ತು.
