Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
तद्धक्तस्तद्गतो नित्य॑ तन्निष्ठस्तत्परायण: । भज पुत्र महादेवं ततः प्राप्स्यसि चेप्सितम्
tadbhaktas tadgato nityaṁ tannisṭhas tatparāyaṇaḥ | bhaja putra mahādevaṁ tataḥ prāpsyasi cepsitam ||
ಅವನ ಭಕ್ತನಾಗು; ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಅವನಲ್ಲೇ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸು. ಆ ಏಕನಿಷ್ಠೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢನಾಗಿ, ಅವನನ್ನೇ ಪರಮಾಶ್ರಯವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿ. ಮಗನೇ, ಮಹಾದೇವನನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರ ಭಜಿಸು; ಆಗ ನೀನು ಬಯಸಿದುದನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವಿ.
