ब्रह्मोवाच अहो प्रश्नो महाभागा गूढार्थ: परम: शुभ: । सूक्ष्म: श्रेयांश्व॒ मर्दानां भवद्धिः समुदाह्ृत:
brahmovāca aho praśno mahābhāgā gūḍhārthaḥ paramaḥ śubhaḥ | sūkṣmaḥ śreyāṁś ca martyānāṁ bhavadbhiḥ samudāhṛtaḥ ||
ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ಅಹೋ! ಮಹಾಭಾಗರೇ, ಈ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಗೂಢಾರ್ಥಯುಕ್ತ, ಪರಮ ಶುಭಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಪರಮ ಶ್ರೇಯಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುವುದು; ನೀವು ಇದನ್ನು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ.”
