उपवासफलात्मकविधिः — Upavāsa as Yajña-Equivalent Merit

दिवं हंसप्रयुक्तेन विमानेन स गच्छति । शतं वर्षसहसत्राणां मोदते स दिवि प्रभो
divaṁ haṁsaprayuktena vimānena sa gacchati | śataṁ varṣasahasrāṇāṁ modate sa divi prabho ||
ಅವನು ಹಂಸಗಳಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತವಾದ ದಿವ್ಯ ವಿಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಓ ಪ್ರಭೋ, ಸ್ವರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
