श्रीरवाच वसामि नित्यं सुभगे प्रगल्भे दक्षे नरे कर्मणि वर्तमाने | अक्रोधने देवपरे कृतज्ञे जितेन्द्रिये नित्यमुदीर्णसत्त्वे

Transliteration

śrīr uvāca: vasāmi nityaṃ subhage pragalbhe dakṣe nare karmaṇi vartamāne | akrodhane devapare kṛtajñe jitendriye nityam udīrṇasattve ||

Translation

ಶ್ರೀಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಓ ದೇವಿ! ನಾನು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಆ ಪುರುಷನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ: ಅವನು ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯವಂತ, ಧೈರ್ಯಶಾಲಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯದಕ್ಷ, ಧರ್ಮೋಚಿತ ಕರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತನಾಗಿರುವವನು; ಕ್ರೋಧರಹಿತ, ದೇವಪರ, ಕೃತಜ್ಞ, ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಜಿತ, ಸದಾ ಉನ್ನತ ಸತ್ತ್ವದಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತನಾಗಿರುವವನು.
