Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity
गुरुणा चैव निर्बन्धो न कर्तव्य: कदाचन । अनुमान्य: प्रसाद्यश्न गुरु: क्रुद्धो युधिष्ठिर
guruṇā caiva nirbandho na kartavyaḥ kadācana | anumānyaḥ prasādyāśna guruḥ kruddho yudhiṣṭhira ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನೇ, ಗುರುವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಹಠ ಅಥವಾ ವಾದ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು; ಗುರು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಸಂಧಾನದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು.
